Meet Our Staff

Our staff are natural nurturers, have an abundance of patience, and are organized and knowledgeable of what it takes in taking care of children. All our teachers are considered lead teachers, and all have been trained to comply with the standards of the Virginia Department of Education.

 

Our staff are educated and retrained/renewed annually. All staff are mandated to:

• Attend 16 hours of professional trainings, conferences and workshops annually.

• Be CPR/first aid trained

• Obtain a food handler's card for meal preparation

• Be trained in serving as mandated reporters for child abuse/neglect. They also are required to attend a prevention training in child abuse/neglect class.
